Per JYFA rules, Yearly Physicals and Proof of Grade and Player Picture are REQUIRED in order to participate. Please upload a copy while completing your registration. If you do not have a completed physical at the time of registration, please log back in and add that document so your child can play. We are NOT using National Sports ID (NSID) this year.

Longs Peak exists to introduce the positive character building "Life Experiences" of the game of Football to our area youth.
We encourage tackle football from the age of 8 years old and up.
We believe this Warrior Sport of tackle football teaches Kids to compete...build "grit" and perseverance to do "hard" things.
We provide a chance to participate in all the fun, friendships, challenges, life lessons and life long interpersonal relationships with peers and coaches.
We work to build a love and respect for... teammates, coaches, parents and the many volunteers that make the privilege of participation possible.
We provide coaching that will prepare them to play High School football.
We strive to teach our kids the skills to become positive and productive members of our local community and society at large.
We believe Football is about so much more than just "the game"!

Statistics tell us that more than 90% of all kids will never play another down of tackle football after High School...We believe, that limiting those experiences to the very small slice of life , which is the 4 years of high school, is such a missed opportunity for growing and guiding young athletes into learning how to be a part of something so much bigger than "self".

Longs Peak has joined JYFA

Jeffco Youth Football Association is the oldest and most respected youth football organization in the state of Colorado. Over 80 years ago, JYFA was organized to teach the youth of our communities the sport of Football. Since that time, the organization has grown from just a few areas to many associations across the Denver Metro area. One simple rule has always governed the organization and allowed it to grow. We are about the kids. We do not allow recruiting or team stacking, elite teams or unethical coaches. We are not perfect, but continuously hold this idea as our guiding light and pursuit of this overall philosophy has been the backbone of the longevity and success of our youth football organization.
